One of the great design and cultural resources of Genoa is the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, with study center and model archives available for student visits. It provides insight into Piano's design process, giving valuable lessons to students of any field of design (not only architecture), as well as suggesting ways of working and thinking useful to students of any discipline.
